Submission Instructions
WIFS accepts only original research papers having no overlap with manuscripts that are already published or submitted elsewhere (including journals, conferences and workshops). Double submissions will be rejected immediately.
Authors should submit full-length papers up to 6 pages including references in two-column IEEE format, including author affiliation and address, figures, tables and references. Only electronic submissions will be accepted.
All papers must be submitted electronically in the PDF format through Microsoft CMT.
Note that in order to meet IEEE SPS standards, we propose to implement for the first time for WIFS a rebuttal for edition 2021. This shall allow the author briefly responding reviewers comments in order to avoid bias and/or misunderstanding. However authors rebuttal shall be limited to answer main reviewers comments and, hence, will be limited to 250 words.
The review process is single-blind, i.e., the identity of the reviewers is not known to the authors, but manuscripts may contain author names, affiliations, and other identifying features such as grant numbers, references to own prior work in first-person form.
Last but not least, note that, as usually applied in all IEEE SPS conferences, we will apply a “no show” policy ; hence, submission of a paper implies that, in case of acceptance at least one of the authors must register, at the full rate, and present the work. A specific deadline for author registration will help enforcing this policy.
